Shelter in Place- Review

After discovering Nora Roberts with her novel The Obsession, I always keep an eye out for her next book. When I heard she was working on a book about a school shooting, I instantly knew Shelter in Place would be right up my alley. I am hugely grateful to St. Martin’s Press for providing me with a free advanced release copy in exchange for my  review. All opinions are my own. Without giving too much away, Roberts’s latest is about a horrific tragedy, and the impact it has on all those involved. While in typical Roberts fashion, there is a romance storyline, the main plotline is surrounded in suspense and kept me turning the pages late into the night. This would make a great beach read, highly recommend to add to your summer reading list! The characters are so well-developed and the way she describes Maine is breath-taking, it makes me want to visit ASAP. Head to your local bookstore on 5/29 to get your hands on a copy!
