Bring Me Back Review

First, thank you to St. Martin’s Press for kindly giving me an advanced copy of this book. Second, this book grabbed me from the beginning! I love that the chapters were “then” and “now.” This type of timeline always keeps my attention. I also enjoyed the switching back and forth between characters. Ultimately, though this book was not for me. I think the stereotypical controlling, abusive husband plot line has been over done. The ending left me angry at all the characters and I felt no absolution that I desperately wanted. Nonetheless, I would recommend this for readers who enjoy psychological thrillers and don’t mind domestic abuse (physical and mental) between both partners. This was very easy to read and I read it very quickly! Would make a good beach read this summer.
